Christina Aguilera

Christina María Aguilera (born December 18, 1980) is an American pop singer and songwriter. Aguilera first appeared on national television in 1990 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in Disney Channel's television series The Mickey Mouse Club from 1993–1994. Aguilera signed to RCA Records after recording "Reflection" for the film Mulan.
In 1999, Aguilera came to prominence following her debut album Christina Aguilera, which was a commercial success spawning three number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100—"Genie in a Bottle," "What a Girl Wants," and "Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)." A Latin pop album, Mi Reflejo (2001), and several collaborations followed which garnered Aguilera worldwide success, though she was displeased with her lack of input in her music and image. After parting from her management, Aguilera took creative control over her second studio album, Stripped (2002). The album's second single, "Beautiful," was a commercial success and helped the album's commercial performance. Aguilera followed up Stripped with Back to Basics (2006), which was released to positive critical acclaim and included elements of soul, jazz, and blues music. Aguilera's fourth studio album Bionic (2010) was poorly received both critically and commercially.
Aside from being known for her vocal ability, music videos and image, musically, she includes themes of dealing with public scrutiny, her childhood, and female empowerment in her music. Apart from her work in music, she has also dedicated much of her time as a philanthropist for charities, human rights and world issues. Aguilera's work has earned her numerous awards, including fiveGrammy Awards and a Latin Grammy Award, amongst fifteen and three nominations respectively. Rolling Stone ranked her number fifty-eight on their list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time, ranking as the youngest and only artist on the list under the age of thirty. Also she has ranked the 20th Artist of the Decade by Billboard. She has become one of the most successful recording artists of the decade, selling more than 46 million albums worldwide.

Chipmunk

By the ripe age of 16, North London MC Chipmunk had already been championed as one of the most promising grime rappers on the scene. In 2007, Chipmunk released the mixtape League of My Own on Alwayz Recordings. In 2008 he reaped the rewards of constant touring and promotion, as he won the Best Newcomer Award at the Urban Music and MOBO award ceremonies. Just after Chipmunk's 18th birthday, he signed to Sony Columbia, and started moving away from grime into mainstream hip-hop. He teamed up with Ironik for a big-beated remake of Elton John's "Tiny Dancer," complete with backing vocals by Sir Elton himself. In July of 2009, he released his debut full-length, Diamond Rings.

CHEMISTRY

CHEMISTRY（化學超男子）是日本的一對R&B雙人組合，成員為堂珍嘉邦和川畑要。所屬唱片公司是SME系列的DefSTAR Records。所屬事務所是Newcome。於東京電視台的選秀節目『ASAYAN』中，通過種種難關，在全日本19100參賽者中脫穎而出的兩位歌手組成。據聞因兩人的聲音被期待為「音樂的化學反應」，故被松尾潔起名CHEMISTRY。曾和Sowelu在2002年世界盃足球賽代表日本，一同擔任跨國組成的限定組合「Voices of KOREA／JAPAN」中的成員，演唱2002世界盃足球賽主題曲「Let's Get Together Now」。

Anna Henrietta Bergendahl (born 11 December 1991) is a Swedish singer. She was born in Stockholm and raised in Nyköping and Katrineholm. Bergendahl is of partial Irish descent as her grandmother was born and lives in Ireland, and Anna's first performance in front of an audience was made in a cathedral in York when she was only eight years old. She took part in Swedish TV4 music program Super Troupers in 2004, and in Idol 2008 where she reached the Final 5 before being eliminated. In 2009, Bergendahl signed for Lionheart Records. Her debut album was released on 14 April 2010. Bergendahl won Melodifestivalen 2010 with the song "This Is My Life" and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo. The song hit #1 on the Swedish Singles Chart on 5 March 2010.

Angie Hart (born on 8 March 1972) is an Australian pop singer best known for her role as lead vocalist in the band Frente! Hart was a founding member of Frente! in 1989. She is renowned for her delicate songcraft, lyrics, and her breathy, little-girl vocals.

Alexandra Imelda Cecelia Ewan Burke (born 25 August 1988) is an English singer and winner of the fifth series of UK television singing talent show The X Factor. Burke had previously auditioned for the 2005 series of the show, where she reached the last seven in her category but was not selected for the live shows.


Burke's prize, as winner, was a recording contract with Simon Cowell's Syco record label, which is co-owned by Sony Music Entertainment. The contract has a stated value of £1 million, of which £150,000 is a cash advance and the remainder is allocated to recording and marketing costs.


On 15 December 2008, Burke became the current European record holder for single sales over a period of 24 hours, selling 105,000 copies of her debut single, "Hallelujah", a Leonard Cohen song, in one day.[3] The figure beats that of her X Factor predecessor, Leona Lewis, who previously held the record for selling 82,000 copies of her single, "A Moment Like This", over 24 hours. Hallelujah went on to become the Christmas number one single of 2008. It was also announced as the top-selling song of the year on the BBC Radio 1 Chart Show on 28 December 2008, beating The X Factor finalists' song "Hero". It is the first time that an X Factor winner has topped the end of year chart in the UK with their winner's single. Sales of "Hallelujah" passed 1 million by 9 January 2009, making Burke the first British female soloist to sell 1 million copies of a single in the UK.


Her debut album, Overcome, was released on 19 October 2009 and entered the charts at number one. It will be released in the US at a later date. Lead single and BRIT-nominated single "Bad Boys" featuring Flo Rida was released on 12 October 2009 and debuted at number-one in the UK, becoming her second consecutive number-one single. The single was released to European markets in early 2010 and charted well in the top tens, and twenties in many countries. Burke has enjoyed a total of seven non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the UK Singles Chart (three with "Hero" with the X Factor Finalists of 2008, three with "Hallelujah", and one with "Bad Boys"). She has been nominated for two BRIT Awards. She has achieved two number one singles ("Hallelujah" and "Bad Boys") as well as two number one singles as a featured artist ("Hero" and "Everybody Hurts" charity singles).

Lil’B

Lil’B is a well-known Japanese pop duo signed to Sony Music Entertainment. They made their major debut in June 2008 with the single Orange which was used as the 15th ending theme for the anime BLEACH. On February 11th, 2009, Lil’B released their debut album Ima, Kimi e… which reached #2 on the Oricon weekly charts.


Lil’B’s name is delivered from two words LIL and Betray.

Leona Lewis

Leona Louise Lewis (born 3 April 1985) is an English pop and R&B singer–songwriter. Lewis rose to fame in 2006 as the winner of the third series of the British television series The X Factor.

Lewis has become a multi-platinum selling artist and three time Grammy Award nominee. She was proclaimed 'Top New Artist' by Billboard magazine in 2008. Lewis has released two albums to date, Spirit and Echo, in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Spirit became the fastest-selling debut album and the biggest seller of 2007 in both the United Kingdom and Ireland, and made Lewis the first British solo artist to top the Billboard 200 with a debut album. It has sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide.

Lewis's debut single "A Moment Like This" became the fastest selling UK single after being downloaded over 50,000 times within thirty minutes of its release. Izumi Sakai (坂井泉水)

坂井泉水为ZARD之主唱，91年以ZARD团体之名进入歌坛，开始打响名声……坂井的声线真的就像泉水一样清新，她以情歌为主，但一般都节奏明快，充满活力。她写的歌词大多是鼓励人们去勇敢坚强的对爱情和生活中的挫折，而不是哭泣与等待。由于很少在公众场合露面，也很少开演唱会，所以很少有人了解到她的情况……尽管如此，每当她推出唱片的时候，必然会引起轰动，从第6张单曲开始均打入了Oricon的十大。
ZARD是日本著名乐团，于91年出道同年2月推出第一张单曲“Goodbye　My　Longiness”；93年她以《白鸟丽子》的主题曲“不要认输”而成名，同年她的大碟《摇荡回忆》以193.8万张的佳绩成为销量冠军。我们可由所有的单曲和专辑中的照片得知，ZARD最主要以主音坂井为代表，所以我们所知道的大部份都和她有关，其它成员都不太固定。由于在93年宣布不再作任何公开演出后就无任何公开活动，包括歌友会或演唱会。所以ZARD 给人一种很神秘的感觉…………

但是或许是天妒红颜，在2007年5月16日，这位日本乐坛的实力女歌手突然从居住的医院的三楼走廊因为不慎滑倒坠楼身亡，很多人一时之间根本无法接受这个事实。其实，自2006年开始，被检查出乳腺癌的坂井一直在接受放化疗治疗，后来做了拆除手术病情已经有所好转，但是因为癌细胞扩散到了肺部，坂井今年再度入院治疗，没想到就再也没有回到歌迷身边。住院时期，她本人一边接受治疗一边还在准备出道15周年纪念演唱会，让人们看到了她不服输的精神。然后，最终却以这样的方式离开大家，也难怪他的很多歌迷失声痛哭，彻夜守灵了。她最后的音乐送别会有四万多歌迷从日本各地到场为她送行，并为她祈祷，某种意义上来说这也算她的一种幸福。

ZARD是日本第一的女性乐队，但由于ZARD也仅仅是坂井泉水而已，所以坂井泉水在统计中也被列为日本第一女性艺人。与她的名气相反，Izumi本人“深居简出”，几乎从不在电视或杂志中露面，一生只参加过7次与电视\公开场合有关的活动，其余时间保持高度低调，就连 FANS CLUB也是1999年（出道之后8年）才成立，所以人们很少能了解到她的情况，甚至她的年龄。充满神秘色彩成为她独特的宣传手法。有一次她在便利店附近的录音棚录制她的新专辑，一时肚子饿，就和工作人员上街吃宵夜，正巧当时店里正在播她的歌，最可笑的是竟没有人认出这位穿着T恤牛仔、没有化妆的女孩。尽管如此，每当她推出唱片的时候，必然会引起轰动，从第六张Single开始均打入了ORICON的十大，这一点在女歌手中无人能及。她在用自己的歌和出色的成绩说明了一切。

ZARD神话：
她在93-01年间连续近10年时间获得日本官方权威音乐的オリコン投票的最佳女歌手与女艺人称号，这是在日本音乐史上绝无仅有的事情，只有坂井泉水（ZARD）的神话。
在99年ZARD被称幽灵乐团的同时，《AERA》杂志的票选-民众最想见到的人，ZARD以5720万的票数排名第二，仅次于天皇明仁，作为一个艺人能登上这个票选的第二，这也是日本史上的神话。
2007年5月27日，泉水逝世，在她逝世后的第一周，发生了日本音乐史上最叫人驚訝和传奇的事情。ZARD的最后作品，《Golden Best ZARD 15th Anniversary》从300圈外攻占排行榜冠军，并且在07-08年间连续79周在榜，销量超过94万。如此，加上06年买出的92万，这张专辑也是一张百万专辑。而且在本周，ZARD发行的所有专辑，全部进入100前榜单。单曲榜上，ZARD发行的最后单曲《点燃心火》初10位，最高9位。直接进入第3位，排行榜上有20多首单曲入榜。包括出道单曲Good-bye My Loneliness（13位），93年发行的名曲《不要认输》（4位）等。一时间纵观榜单，基本上全都写着ZARD。这是之前没有任何一个歌手可以达到的高度。

上個星期無意間發現了坂井的歌...就此深深愛上了她的歌！！！坂井泉水也從此成為我心中第一的日本女歌手（之前我都聽宇多田和倉木麻衣的歌並覺得她們是日本最好的。），皇天不負有心人，終於讓我集齊她所有的專輯和一些MV！雖然遲了3年（坂井在2007年5月16日離開這個世界），但她的歌聲她的歌她那靦婰的眼神絕對俘虜了我的心。她的歌讓我聽了會很想再聽，越聽越喜歡；即使不明白她唱什麼，你也會被她的旋律和歌聲深深感動。尤其是看了她的演唱會...那種震撼力和魅力絕對叫人瘋狂。只可惜天妒紅顏...
